Gather your materials

Prepare your model
Before applying decals, make sure your model is clean and free of dust or debris. You may want to give it a light coat of clear gloss varnish to create a smooth surface for the decals to adhere to.
Cut out the decals
Carefully cut out the decals you will be using from the sheet using a sharp pair of scissors. Leave a small margin of clear film around the decal to prevent it from peeling off prematurely.
Soften the decals
Place the decals in a small bowl of warm water for about 30 seconds. This will help soften the decals and make them easier to slide off the backing paper.
Apply decal setting solution
- Using a soft brush, apply a thin layer of decal setting solution to the area where you will be placing the decal on your model.
